Leila Dancer

Classes, especially the beginner levels, are structured around learning individual movements; not just using hips and the general midrif area, but also arms, ribs, shoulders, head, neck, hands and legs.  Movements are broken down in several different ways using various visualization techniques to facilitate learning.  Some movement combinations are taught as well.

Dance emphasis is on improvistion rather than choreography.  Particular attention is paid to movement execution and technique.  Public dance performance is encouraged in those students expressing interest, but every student is encouraged to dance simply for the pure joy of it.

For group rates, class policies and schedules, please contact the individual schools/centers listed below.

For Private sessions (single student) and Semi-Private sessions (2-4 students, max.) , please contact Susanne (Leila) directly.  See Leila's Contact Info page.
